I didn't do a rattle can job, and my brother had to help as im a bit of a dipshit... so paint cost more

Cost £110 for 2 litres of primer and 2.5 litres of top coat cellulose paint...

Already had thinner so didn't account for that...

Took a day to prep & primer and a day to reprep & spray, but took another day to strip and prep and another day to put it all back together

'I bought myself a Heckblende'

Got a bit dark, so only a pixelated picture and being held on with my other hand as I took the photo. I love it :D

That's awesome 8) I have something like that reserved for a Metro, which says Turbo on it. Proper 80's. Love it.

Nice progress hun, wasn't feeling the jetta front when it was blue, looks soooo much better in cream :D really suits it

I still need to be convinced on the brown colour coding tho, you need to get yourself the brown interior you find is other mk2 5 doors :D The chrome bumpers would look sooo swish, even the mk1 golf ones... dunno if they would fit like..dont know much about mk1s

And seat beads !!!!

beige interior is going to be difficult... I might be getting a plain tweed interior and then doing plastics etc in brown for now.

Liking the combo mate. :)

And if you do the grill brown (Which you should) what about doing the VW badge cream too with brown on the insides. (Like mallo's badge with the orange).

A combo of sticky pads and the same screws i'd put the plates on with.

Which is why i've not put it on yet, as I wanna get the plates first :)

After my photoshop of the brown grill i'm not sure on all of it. I am quite used to the black grill and brown bumper combo atm :P

I'll see how it goes as I do random stuff over time of ownership :P
