Thanks for all the comments

Will be picking the car up on saturday!!!!!

Not totally finished though, because Fiat were so long in getting my new headlights in I havnt yet taken them to Xquisite to be split down, orange lens removed and sprayed same as the roof.

So will be dropping them off when i pick the car up, and get them next week and most probably fit them next weekend.

Cant wait to see the wheels on finally!!!!!!

UPDATE!!!!

Postby Derm on Sun Oct 12, 2008 11:16 am

Right went to Xquisite yesterday to check out the car and put it all back together.

Still got a few bits left to do before the exterior is finished such as

- I made the 15mm hubcentric spacers myself so that I could have VW fitment on my car (4x100). The fronts stick out 6mm more than the rear wheels so going to turn the front spacers down this week so that the wheels at the front stick out the same as the rear. Not many people like this look but I love it.

- Also need to bring the front down a little bit more

- With regards to mirrors I have got clamp on mirrors same as martins

- Interior is being done very soon!!!

- Left the brand new headlights at Xquisite yesterday to be split down, indicator lenses removed and the inners sprayed the same colour as the roof.

So heres the pics from yesterday

That looks spot on mate! Great looking punto, only thing id say is maybe get those struts you can see through the mesh sprayed black so you cant see them.

But it does look great mate!

Love that. Personally though I'd bring the front wheels in quite a bit and leave your lovely poke on the rear for the perfect stance. Looks a bit too toy-car ish when theres loads of poke all round IMO.

Love it though. That an abarth kit thats on it then?

As I have said on other forums mate, been having a chat with my mates and we have all said looking at the pics that the front wheels need to come in.

So going to remove the front spacers (15mm) and re-fit the wheels using wobbly bolts. Then going to apply some dirty camber!!! haha

Should look much better hopefully

And it is an abarth front bumper, i had the top vent and tow eye smoothed

The roof isnt black mate, its aston martin grey, same as the wheels.

Will be tinting the sunroof though but not sure what percentage of tint to get on it. I think limo tint will be to dark so might go for the grade less.

Thanks for all the comments
