Ok, I need to sell my mondy, but since it was registered in 2001, the previous owner obviously decided that he liked the look of brake dust covered wheels.

Hence, I am now struggling to get it off the back wheels and it looks shite!

Any products out there or techniques to help?

do not use a wire brush

Seen the results too although not used it myself.

Only problem you may have is that if its years of build up it may have eaten into the lacquer on the wheels. Well worth a try though.
