My VW Polo 9n Diesel

Postby pip_polo on Sat Jan 03, 2009 10:43 pm

haha yes a diesel  it's a 1.4 TDi sport.
when i got the car it looked like this:

since then i have done i few different things, including alot of wheels.
i've ran: 16" bbs splits
15" sports
17" TT Comps
17" TT 6 spokes (on now)
16" Steelies
some of the things i've done are:
Full Votex body kit from VW
colour coded grill with 'gti style' red
HID's
LED in all lights
some boring ICE
full skoda fabia vrs exhaust (taken off because didn't fit with votex body kit :P)
coilovers
shortened drop links (as my drive shaft was mating with my arb lol)
strut braces front n back
cold air feed with vrs air filters
remap by custom code
currently running at about 110bhp and shit loads of torque
probs more but can't remember.

heres some rubbish current pics.

i've been looking at the keskin 1's. or something like that. with about 9 on back and 7.5 on front.

if i take the back down to where i want it (about 30mm lower) the car will have reverse rake and look crap. the front can't go lower as it's my daily and the roads are crap.

just smooth the lot then? lol
i was going to go down the smooth route, but if i do front the back will need doing. and i have reverse parking sensors (they suck but still there). and it'll cost like £500 to do it all and i cba lol

i'm getting the votex plastic welded on and the under neeth of it tucked up as it hangs down.

by march it'll look better lol

not much of an update just a bit of picture whoring.
but i have decided i'm smoothing the bumpers, possibly removing the votex body kit and just all out smoothness. :)
heres a pic after 3 days of driving (150 miles)
Image
:P
and now some rolling shots (what made me decide on the smoothness and deep dishness. i'd drove 50 miles to get it this dirty :( the roads suck.

i'm getting a Skoda, yes a Skoda, Fabia VRs in a year or so and i plan on just all out performance on it (about 200 bhp, but it will be more like 240 :))

but in a few months this car is getting a full front end respray and probs a bit of smoothing if i can find a decent bodyshop that plastic welds rather than filler as i want it to last.
then some deep dishness :D

well to cut a long story short the front lower bumper is hanging off so needs sorting anyway. so might as well smooth it all in or something.

*the longer story*
went to get it MOT'd and the guy decided my car wasn't low so could get it on the rollers, he didn't even get it inside the workshop before it bottomed out, ripping the front bumper bit off.
