Danny, could you make the background grey, so it's the same colour as the grey on the left / right. I just previewed it, and it looks really grungey because the rest of the layout is so clean.

If you can do that I'll stick it up, looks cool and a cool idea

It's piss easy Mallo, it's on your Admin Control Panel somwhere, and you just upload the Photo. I used to run a Freeforum like this about 18 Months ago, maybe longer, but yeah, the Admin Control Panels are much more watered down than the proper PhpBB forums.
