Some of my Photography (56k warning)

Postby D.C on Sat Jan 31, 2009 3:45 pm

I am mostly a motorsport photographer, but I am hoefully going to do a Photography course, which should help me widen my prospects, but nevertheless. For more of my photography, this is my flickr account - http://www.flickr.com/photos/epiccakephotography/

looks good man... I wouldn't pay for a course really. You'll find that a lot of the photographers at the event are more than happy to offer advice. I always pester others.... I even got to try a Canon 600mm F/4L IS (£6000 lens) attached to a Canon 1DmkIII (£2000 body)
and the same chap let me borrow his Canon 100-400L IS

Thanks for the comments everyone. For the track I must say I purely leave my camera on autofocus, purely cos if I have it on manual focus, and something happens elsewhere, it change the iso to suit the time of day and let the camera do its thing. I mean to get the action aspect, you just need to follow the car. Plus take loads of pictures. I haven't got a very steady hand so I need to haha. But at the end of the day, the more pictures, the more likely you are to get some good shots. Plus I don't use a stand, I feel that it limits my movements, were as if the camera not on a stand, I can move around easily.
But anything, I would much prefer to learn some good tips of taking some awesome car shots. You know at like car shows and so on. Like what angles to take them at and so on...
