I spoke to a VOSA auditor, he said its just a grey area, its just down to disgression of teh tester. If its deemed unsafe then its illegal. Its all abou weather teh beading is out or position at all. Surely a tyre manufacturer could come up with an angled beading, to make huge huge huge huge stretches possiable.
