washer jets

Postby Gregers on Thu Feb 19, 2009 9:43 pm

My washer jets aren't working no change they haven't for ages but the windows getting dirty in this weather so i kinda need them.

I have taken the pump out and cleaned that and the container not sure what its called this cleared it for a little bit bit not much (this was 6 months ago or so)

So i was going to take the pump out and try flushing it clean again but i'm not sure if it could be dirt or something in the actual hose. (I have tried the pin in the jet and had no affect) so was wondering if there is a way to flush out the hoses incase dirt or something had go inside them?

I'm trying not to get a new pump as don't want to spend much money on this car as i'm thinking off selling when i have the money.

Thanks.
J

does the pump work? Test it with a bowl of watr or something. if it does. Get an airline and blow through the pipes.
